Why Secularism

I don’t want people thinking that I’m anti-religion. But the fact is, it’s usually only the fundamentalists of a religion that wants to impose themselves on political institutions in such a way that demands strict adherence to their interpretations and practices and of course, undermines religious freedom of others. To complete their twisted civil rhetoric, they would have to admit that it is the freedom to practice their religion to the position of supremacy. To them, there is no morality in religious plurality.

It’s the zealots of any religion who you ought to fear, not all the adherents of a particular religion.
